Castiglia AI may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified operational and usage information to maintain, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, provided such information does not identify a specific customer or individual.

5.2 — Third-Party Integrations
If you connect the Services to third-party platforms or request that we send data to a third-party system, we may share information as necessary to enable that integration. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy practices, terms, and security practices of third-party systems you choose to connect.

5.4 — Business Transfers
If Castiglia AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, transfer of business operations, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any acquiring or successor entity will be expected to honor this Policy or provide notice of any material changes.
5.5 — With Your Consent
We may share information with your consent or at your direction.
Data Retention
Castiglia AI retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods may depend on the type of information, the nature of the Services, account status, legal obligations, billing and accounting requirements, security requirements, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, and operational needs.
6.1 — Customer Data Retention
Customer Data may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Upon account termination, cancellation, or expiration, Castiglia AI may delete, archive, anonymize, or retain Customer Data in accordance with the Terms of Service, the Data Policy, applicable law, backup and disaster recovery practices, security requirements, and legal or billing obligations.
6.2 — Backup Systems
Information deleted from active systems may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted according to standard backup cycles.
Data Security
Castiglia AI uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, secure infrastructure providers, authentication controls, logging and monitoring, internal access restrictions, vendor review, and security best practices.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Castiglia AI cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your own systems, devices, accounts, passwords, credentials, integrations, API keys, users, and connected platforms.
Customer Responsibilities for Privacy
